ABOUT
GLOBAL HEALTH IMPACT

who we are.

MISSION.

VISION.

VALUES.

our committment.

Global Health ImPAct exists to bridge healthcare education and service through meaningful partnerships that improve health outcomes, strengthen communities, and develop compassionate healthcare leaders. Through service-learning experiences, clinical education, and sustainable global partnerships, we seek to create lasting impact both locally and globally.

Global Health ImPAct reaches communities to teach and serve through healthcare that transforms lives.

Reach

We believe healthcare education and service should extend beyond the classroom and across borders.

  • We create opportunities for students and professionals to mentor, collaborate, and grow alongside partners.

  • We engage participants through short-term service trips, clinical rotations, and long-term partnerships in underserved communities worldwide.

Teach

We believe learning is reciprocal and that every partnership should strengthen both participants and host communities.

  • We promote evidence-based medicine, research, and best practices in global health.

  • We foster environments of mutual learning where knowledge is shared between local providers and visiting teams.

  • We cultivate cultural humility and a commitment to lifelong learning in global healthcare.

Serve

We believe service should create lasting impact rather than temporary intervention.

  • We collaborate with local partners to address community needs identified through community-driven assessments.

  • We invest in ethical, sustainable, community-led solutions that continue long after individual trips have ended.

Transform

We believe in the power of global experiences to reshape perspectives and foster empathy.

  • We inspire students and professionals to become lifelong advocates for global health, service, and health equity.

  • We equip participants to return home with renewed purpose, greater cultural humility, and a deeper commitment to serving others.

To create a world where healthcare education, service, and partnership transcend borders, empower communities, and develop compassionate healthcare leaders.

Humility

We listen first, learn continuously, and approach every culture with respect.

Partnership

We work alongside local leaders and communities, recognizing that meaningful change is built through collaboration.

Excellence

We pursue the highest standards of clinical care, education, and evidence-based practice.

Sustainability

We prioritize solutions that strengthen local capacity and create long-term impact.

Service

We use our skills and resources to serve others with compassion, integrity, and purpose.

Education

We believe transformative learning occurs through experience, mentorship, and global engagement.

Stewardship

We responsibly manage the trust, resources, and relationships entrusted to us for the greatest possible impact.

We recognize that every resource, partnership, and opportunity is a gift to be stewarded faithfully in service of our mission.

At Global Health ImPAct, we believe that meaningful healthcare service extends beyond clinical care. Through humility, partnership, excellence, sustainability, service, education, and stewardship, we seek to reach communities, teach future leaders, serve with purpose, and transform lives for generations to come.

Our Team.

Dr. Megan Hudson is the proud founder of Global Health ImPAct.

Her 14 years of clinical experience and global health involvement has propelled her to create the same opportunities for other PAs across the globe. As the leader of GHI, Dr. Hudson is always reminding her team to be imPAct focused and ensuring that our global health experiences are sustainable and empowering to the communities we partner with.

Katie is our secretary and a voting member on our Board of Directors. She is also currently a PA student at Barry University graduating in December of 2025! Katie has gone on several international service trips, including two led by GHI founder Megan Hudson, to Uganda, Africa visiting the Watoto Villages. Her desire to aid in launching Global Health Impact comes from a place of passion for serving the underserved, as well as seeing first-hand the influence of medical service trips. Throughout her PA education she believes her global experiences have equipped her with skills to be a stronger student, while also developing her into the compassionate and competent PA she hopes to become. She greatly encourages these kinds of experiences for all aspiring clinicians and truly believes in the impact these trips can have on those being served as well as on the serving students in their journey to become the best health care providers they can be!

PARTNERS.

Partnering with Global Health Initiatives (GHI) offers an unparalleled opportunity for US healthcare professional schools, particularly physician assistant and nurse practitioner programs, to play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. By collaborating with GHI, your institution can provide students with invaluable hands-on experience in diverse and underserved communities, fostering a deep understanding of global health challenges and BE a part of the solution to a global problem. This partnership will not only enhance the quality of education and training in your students but also instill a sense of global responsibility and cultural competence for our future healthcare providers.

Together, we can cultivate a workforce that is well-equipped to deliver compassionate, high-quality care both locally and globally, ensuring a healthier future for all.
